Letter from the Editor

It is my pleasure to present Cake’s inaugural digital publication. Originally published in April 2022, the work that makes up Issue #2 has been revised and its presentation refined. Through the concentrated, creative efforts of our staff and the reciprocal feats of authors and artists alike, we have crafted a publication that we believe compliments this work. When it was decided to move forward with the idea of republication, we knew from the start how crucial it was to make this a visual representation of not only the performance of Cake’s staff, but our love and reverence for each piece featured in this issue. After several careful reviews of this re-issue, I am confident that this goal has been achieved.

A legion of thanks to each and every member of Cake for their steadfast assiduousness in ensuring the success of this republication. I hope everyone finds as much enjoyment in reading this journal as we found in making it.
